Miko Salkin

Miko Salkin is a young director born in Manhattan of New York City, and has lived here all 21 years of their life. They are currently a senior student studying Film & Media Production at Marymount Manhattan College, soon to be Northeastern University. As a child, they made nonsensical videos with their toys with their dad’s phone or a camera. It wasn’t until when they were 13 that they decided to go forward with their film venture by attending the Academy For Careers in Television and Film, a high school in Long Island City. Outside of school they have also created content on YouTube and have experiemented with editing on Final Cut Pro and iMovie, the latter more professional. They have also dabbled into travel videos on YouTube that were filmed with a camcorder. As of now, they are developing a fiction film about their real life experiences with Anxiety.
