Jerrica
Jerrica is an emerging creative originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and now living in New York City. As a filmmaker and musician, they create short films, music videos, and other new media pieces. Their work often addresses queer and trans issues, history, and community.
Jerrica created projects Live My Life Part 1 and 2 as an interactive screening. With video projected onto three walls simultaneously, the videos explored trans identity and representation. This was put in an exhibition at Jerrica’s college, Marymount Manhattan College, and open to the community beyond. Jerrica makes music videos for covers of songs, but is currently developing their own original music and visuals.
Jerrica has been a creative their entire life, writing their first original songs at just five years old! Nowadays Jerrica also enjoys dancing, learning new languages, going to concerts and music festivals, and dyeing their hair different colors.
Remember
Looking through old photos from a terrible night, Cherry is suddenly transported back to the moment they were taken and has the chance to change the memory.
