Abigail Johnson

Abigail Johnson is a multi-hyphenate film and theatre artist, currently in her senior year at Marymount Manhattan College. Johnson is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, and has been inspired by her small-town suburban childhood in many of her films. Johnson made the move to New York City at the age of 19 to pursue musical theatre and film. Johnson has written/directed projects such as Don't Tell My Mom (Short, Lift-Off Sessions Official Selection), In Good Company (Pilot Presentation), Famous (Screenplay, Proof-of-Concept, A Royal Chance Film Festival Honorable Mention). Abigail Johnson mainly writes stories of young women with themes of belonging, empathy, friendship, love, and ironically enough, the music industry. Outside of film and theatre, Johnson enjoys hot girl walks, going out with friends, shopping, museums, and playing with her dog, Crunches.
