Abigail Jenkins

Abigail “Abby” Jenkins is a senior in her final semester at Marymount Manhattan College, receiving a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Film and Media Production and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Theatre and New Media, with a minor in Business Management. She is a member of the Zeta Nu chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the national honor society of the National Communication Association, has made the dean’s list each year, and is a member of the school's production club, Mount Studios.

Abby is originally from the tiny, rural town of Radford, Virginia. She eventually moved to Kent Island, Maryland right before starting high school. She looks back on her roots from both Virginia and Maryland fondly, as she will always have a piece of her small-towns with her. She currently lives in New York, NY and fully embraces the city life.

As an aspiring filmmaker, Abby enjoys combining themes of coming of age and political and social commentary with horror, a genre she is deeply inspired by.
